Privacy

The application

• · Reads names, sizes, dates, kinds and permissions of items inside the folder or volume you select. It never opens a file or reads its contents.
• · Stores that information in a single database inside its own sandbox container on your Mac, together with your settings, exclusions, cleanup log and licence key if you have one.
• · Sends nothing. This release contains no network code. Licence activation is a signature check performed on your Mac.
• · Deletes nothing on its own. Items you select and confirm are moved to the Trash, which you empty yourself.

You can verify all of this by turning off Wi-Fi: every feature keeps working. To remove everything the app stored, use Clear local scan data in Settings and then drag the app to the Trash.

Diagnostics

Settings contains a switch for coarse, anonymous diagnostics. It is off by default, and this release sends nothing whether it is on or off — the choice is stored so a future version can honour it. If diagnostics are ever enabled in a future release they will be limited to a fixed list of bucketed values such as app version, macOS major version, architecture, and whether a scan completed. File names, paths, contents, hashes and search text can never be included; the data model has no field capable of carrying them.

This website

The site is static files. There is no analytics script, no advertising network, no session recording and no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to. Our host records ordinary web-server logs (IP address, page, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting, kept for a short period.

Buying Pro

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. They receive the details needed to take the payment and meet tax obligations, and their own privacy policy governs that processing. We receive a record of the sale, your email address, and a payment reference — never your card number. We use your email only to send your licence key and to answer you if you write to us. Your licence is not linked to anything you scan, because nothing you scan ever reaches us. Purchase records are kept as long as Indian tax and company law require.

Support email

If you write to support@onzira.com we keep the correspondence so we can follow up, and delete it when it is no longer needed. Please do not send file listings or paths unless we ask and you are comfortable doing so.

Your rights

Because the app collects nothing, there is normally no personal data of yours for us to hold beyond a purchase record and any email you send. You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, by writing to support@onzira.com.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what leaves your Mac, the change will be described in the release notes as well as here, before it takes effect.
